I finished my first semester back in school after 2 years out of that loop. I'm starting a medicinal herbalism class on the 19th. Regular school starts again on the 7th and I'm breathing deep (into a paper bag).
Joey got me to read The Name of the Wind and I actually liked it (loved it actually)! No offense to the author - Joey and I usually have different opinions about fantasy is all. He likes Anita Blake and I like Discworld.
I've finally started drawing again. Even though the pictures are scrap material I want to post them. Now I have no scanner! To be more precise I have a scanner but the program disc is missing... (breathing deep)
I'm still trying to make new friends... not going so well on that front. On the whole I have to say life is in an up trend.
Bye for now,
Aryanne T.

But, seriously, I do really like the scenes on the roof with Auri. Maybe I will.
Thanks for the suggestion.

Putting up those old works of art takes guts. I've not been so brave. If I manage to do it, it should serve as good incentive to improve my talents that have been in sad disuse. Thanks for the encouragement.

It's just that I drew alot after that and got noticeably better (anatomy).
I still feel reasonably good about it. But I like the one I did of Kvothe with the lute in Tarbean better (or best) of the NotW ones.
Putting up old works and comparing them with the new also makes you realize how much better you've gotten, which is encouraging. So, you should.
